What to do if you cannot pair Apple Airpods with your iPhone XS, XS Max, XR due to unavailable animation setup?

Apple has invented a set of devices that automatically sync through its very own iCloud service -- and they're labelled AirPods. These wireless Bluetooth earphones allow users to switch audio sources from one Apple device to another. For this to work, the devices must also be connected to the same Apple ID. As soon as you put these earphones into your ears, the audio plays automatically, and pauses once you take one of the Airpods out. Taking both earphones out on the other hand, stops the audio.

After the official release last December of 2016, many have been fascinated with the Apple Airpods mainly because of their advanced features. And since then, they have dominated the wireless earphones market.

Setting up Apple Airpods with your iPhones is quite easy. However, some may find it hard to pair their device, especially if there is no set up animation available during the process. If the problem occurs during the pairing process, you may check these helpful tips to resolve the issue.

These are the things that you need to consider when pairing Apple Airpods to your iPhones:
  • Your iPhone must have the updated iOS version of 10.2 or later.
  • See to it that the wireless Bluetooth earphones are fully charged.
  • If the earphones need to be recharged, just put them back into their charging case. This case has a built-in battery that can be used up to 24 hours.
  • If the case needs to be charged, connect the case to its Lightning cable and plug it into the USB port.
  • Note that charging of the case for 15 minutes gives you the luxury to listen to your favorite music in your Airpods for as much as three hours.
Once the above mentioned are already checked, you can proceed and start pairing your iPhones with your Airpods. Simply follow these steps:

Step 1. With your Airpods inside the case, the lid of the case should be closed for about 15 seconds.

Step 2. After 15 seconds, open the lid. Once you see the white status light, start setting up your Airpods.

Step 3. Press and hold the setup button if the status light does not flash white. The setup button can be found at the back of the case. Do this until the status light becomes white.

If you have already followed the steps but to no avail, try to press and hold the setup button again for about 15 seconds until the status light flashes white. If these steps are followed correctly, you should be able to pair your Airpods even without the setup animation on your iPhones.

Note as well that these Airpods are automatically set up to any supported devices once you’ve signed into iClouds using the same Apple ID.

What is good about the Airpods is that they are not limited to Apple devices only. In fact, you can also pair them with non-Apple devices such as Andriod, Windows, and even other Bluetooth devices. You can also customize your Airpods for your convenience like changing the name of your Airpods and more.

Indeed, Apple's Airpods have been almost everyone's favorite wireless earphones because of its amazing specs, features and best performance. Once set up and paired perfectly to any device of your choice, surely you will enjoy every feature these Apple Airpods offer.
