How to clear cache, cookies, history, and enable JavaScript on your Apple iPhone 7/7 Plus browser app

Steps to clear cache, cookies and history files on your iPhone 7/7Plus

1. Go to the Home screen.

2. Tap Settings.

3. Tap Safari.

Note: If you are using other browser app than Safari, tap to open the browser app.

4. On the browser screen, tap on the option to Clear History and Website Data.

5. Tap Clear History and Data to confirm action.

Note: Menu options may vary depending on the version of Safari your iPhone is using.

Wait until the cache clearing process is complete. Quit the app and open it again. You should see the difference in terms of loading speed afterwards.

Steps to enable or disable JavaScript on your iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus browser app


1. Go to the Home screen.

2. Tap Settings.

3. Tap Safari.

4. Tap Advanced.

5. From the Advanced settings screen, locate and toggle the switch next to JavaScript to turn the feature on or off. Turn the slider On to enable the feature. Otherwise, leave it off.

Enabling JavaScript on your browser allows you to load or view interactive webpages or other sites with platforms that require JavaScript as those with several gaming, video or audio streaming pages over the Internet.
